Entertainment Company.
A Colorado-based entertainment company is segmented into three divisions of business, and all employees have a workstation with Internet access. After consulting with Fast Data Technology and activating FastTracker, the company found that each of its employees was spending an average of 45 minutes a day online. FastTracker also revealed that the majority of that time was for personal web surfing. After activating FastTracker, employees were able to reduce their total personal time online, and management felt like it made a positive impact to improve the overall culture.
Recruiter.
A Colorado-based technical recruiting company utilizes the Internet to research resumes, jobs, and locate qualified applicants for its clients. After consulting with Fast Data Technology and activating the FastTracker managed service, the company found that its top performers were using the Internet to pre-qualify candidates and opportunities before arranging meetings. The lower performers, however, were not as efficient on the Internet and were spending more time looking at news, and marketing Web sites. FastTracker helped the company focus its employees on business usage and also revealed a strategy that its top performers were using that other employees can now apply to increase their chances for success. Additionally, it also showed employees were not using a web site subscription the company was paying for. The company canceled the service and saved $10,000.
